Features

Integrated drill mounts & drip tray

Our X-10 surface diamond drill sits low in the SX-10 drill shack. This means you’ll get better lines of sight, no skids to work around, and a drip tray to mitigate environmental mishaps or spills.

Leveling cylinders with teeth

Drill targets can be in tight spaces. With the SX-10 skid shack, the leveling rams make leveling a breeze. Plus, if minor azimuth adjustments are required, the dozer teeth keep the blade where it belongs rather than on the side of your drill shack walls.

Reinforced skidbase

Drill shacks have to navigate uneven terrain and full rod racks skidding from site to site. To keep the shack tracking straight while you do your job, we added heavy wall tube skids with wear strips to the base.

Hydraulic slide-out for additional workspace

A hydraulic slide-out makes it possible to keep a slim shack width while still having room for your helper. This feature offers a core box table, tool racks, and a reinforced ring to help empty the core tube for extra safety and efficiency.

Interior/exterior full led light package

A bright interior and exterior make drilling in the shack safe during a night shift – and keeps your crew happy.

Integrated guard system

Our custom, in-house shack design gives you an integrated drill guard system to keep your crew safe. Plus, it offers interlock switches and a roll-away design for extra accessibility.

Ladder and guard rails package

Access your drill’s roof safely with a tilting cage around the ladder and removable railings around the drill shack roof.

Rod handling and stacking system

Rod pulls – and keeping your helper safe – is part of drilling. Get faster, safer, and less strenuous changes with the AVD rod handling system and hydraulic rack.
