X-10 Heli Portable Drill Rig
Built for heli-portable drilling programs, the Fly Platform can be configured around the requirements of the job. For more efficient pad-to-pad moves, TactEx recommends incorporating a second “H” frame that can be slung to the next drill pad in advance with the preset azimuth already secured in position. This reduces component set-asides and alignment delays when positioning the X-10 on the next pad.
For drilling programs requiring rod handling, the platform can integrate the drill and feed frame with a heli-portable rod-handling structure. This configuration provides additional flexibility for deeper holes and multiple dips while maintaining the ability to break the system down into manageable lifts for transport.
